A growing publishing company situated in the heart of London are looking to recruit a Full Stack Web Developer to join their existing web development team.

Our client is looking for a proven Full-Stack Developer with a great attitude who has strong PHP development experience ideally with WordPress, Drupal or Symfony. You will be working on and owning multiple exciting web projects. The successful applicant should be happy to work as part of a small team, actively discussing project ideas and issues and offering support and advice on other projects where possible.

Skills / Environment

*Developing and improving websites, web applications and web components (WordPress, Drupal, vanilla PHP/HTML, JS)

*OOP PHP

*HTML5

*CSS3

*JavaScript / jQuery

*Experience / Interest in other programming languages such as C#, Java, C++ etc)

Duties:

*Developing and improving websites, web applications and web components (WordPress, Drupal, vanilla PHP/HTML, JS)

*Defining and creating architecture and scope of work for new projects

*Providing understandable input and suggestions in project meetings with non-technical staff

*Website maintenance - updates, server statistics, QoS; ensuring websites perform to an acceptable standard. An understanding of UX, accessibility, reliability and performance is key
