Systems/Software Engineer (Aerospace & Defence)

£35.00 - £45.00 per hour (Through Umbrella Co. / Ltd Co.)

12 Month Contract (Likely extended)

Bristol - commutable from Gloucestershire, Avon, Somerset

37.5 hours a week, overtime available

Are you an experienced Systems/Software Engineer, with experience with safety critical industries such as Aerospace, Rail or Defence looking for a long term, contract role for a market leading Aerospace & Defence engineering company? My client are world renowned for supplying full cycle engineering projects to the Aerospace & Defence industries.

Due to company growth and an increase in projects, they are now looking for a highly skilled Systems/Software Engineer to join their team with immediate effect on an initial 12 month contract that will likely be extended.

The ideal candidate for this position will be an immediately available, Systems/Software Engineer with experience with software/system design in a safety critical industry, looking for a long term contract role. Degree educated with a knowledge of Agile is necessary.

On offer here is an excellent contract role with a great hourly rate working with a multinational Aerospace & Defence engineering company that are at the forefront of their industry.

The Role:

*Systems requirements, definition, management and validation using IBM DOORS

*Systems integration

*Systems verification

The Candidate:

*Systems/Software Engineer

*Experience within a safety critical industry such as aerospace, defence or rail

*Degree educated with a knowledge of Agile
