IT Operations manages the IT infrastructure and supporting services that are critical for HSBC employees and customers, such as cost-efficient hardware, system software, middleware and databases, data centres, voice and data networks, ATMs, desktops and other devices.

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of IT Control Testing Specialist.

In this role, you will:

* Be responsible for the timely delivery of IT control testing in line with the quarterly and annual testing plans and being transparent and accurate in the completion of testing deliverables, as will be reported to Senior Management

* Apply judgment in relation to the identification and publication of control testing findings through identifying the key risks and issues

* Work as part of a team of IT control testers to effectively and efficiently complete testing for CCO within the Testing COE

* Support the completion of targeted control reviews covering IT risks and working collaboratively with other Testing COE team members

* Establish effective working relationship within the Regional testing team covering Asia Pacific

* Support the IT Control Manager in maintaining 'trusted advisor' relationships with internal stakeholders and partnering with 2nd and 3rd Lines of Defence (LOD) including Operational Risk, ISR, Internal Audit etc. on coverage of IT control testing

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

* Demonstrable knowledge in IT operational risk management, internal control, or internal audit preferably within a banking operations and / or IT Function

* Process assessment experience

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Self-starter and effective collaboration
