Description

The Future Project PM will be experienced in liaising with senior stakeholders, communicating and implementing strategy through inspirational and proactive leadership. They will be capable of conducting scoping activities, strategic planning and support news ways of working. They will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities will include:

* maintain & update the MORPHEUS Programme 10 Year Strategy document for review annually;

* manage the Future Project Team workflow;

* hold quarterly strategy meetings to develop and present on emerging uncertainties and potential issues;

* develop the business model to address outcomes from Operational Field Trials (OFT) and User Acceptance events in support of Army HQ;

* conduct scoping activities for the first Evolutionary Capability Development (ECD) body of work, covering input from requirements, innovation and obsolescence management;

* support to Approvals and evidence generation for Approvals submissions as required (Review Notes, Main Gate Business Case and Information Notes);

* maintain and annual update to ECD Capping Paper;

* maintain and annual update to ECD Briefing Pack;

* Provide input to support to HQ benefits management;

* provide coherence across the Programme to ensure ECD adoption is in line with Programme 10 Year Strategy, and not ad hoc;

* provide, in concert with the BATCIS senior Commercial Officer, an analysis of supply chain conflict of interest for all MORPHEUS Projects;

support business transformation (known as Value Stream 2) in the adoption of new ways of working and Joint Programme Organisation/ Co-ordinating Design Organisation implementation to ensure coherence with EvO and ECD;

* assist the Project Managers in the development of the Statements of Requirements (SOR) for the Systems Integrator and Managed Service Providers based on extant strategy.

Essential

* An understanding of the MOD, its project management methodology and approach

* Evidence of successful management and delivery of complex projects within the MOD

* Evidence of working collaboratively as a member of a team and building strong relationships with colleagues in other disciplines as well as industry
