Senior Integration - Layer Tester

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Start date: 27/09/2018

End date: 6 month contract

Rate: Market rate

Languages: EN + ( FR or DU is a plus)

Description:

We are actively looking for an external Senior Integration Layer Tester for our Client based in Brussels. They will be integrated into a growing Integration Hub Team currently containing 4-5 staff members.

The Role:

The assignment will cover the following tasks:

                                                                       Main testing point of contact for the Integration Layer team

                                                                       Responsible of the setup of automated integration testing strategy

                                                                       Perform and analyse performance testing on services layer and broker

                                                                       Guarantee performance and trust in the solution by setting up and following of a continuous testing platform of services (not UI)

                                                                       Setup/develop data sources simulators (mock)

                                                                       Integrate with the development team processes

                                                                       Presentation of results, reports

Technical Skills (required):

                                                                       Experience in Testing (5+ years)

                                                                       Experience (hands-on) with SOA solutions (development and testing) (2+ years)

                                                                       Experience in automation testing (2+ years)

                                                                       Excellent knowledge of middleware concepts and solution (queuing, common model)

                                                                       Good knowledge of SoapUI or similar product

                                                                       Good skills in analysis of performance reports

                                                                       Good analytic skills in troubleshooting

                                                                       Experience in operation team is a plus

                                                                       Knowledge of Jira and TFS is a plus

                                                                       ISTQB Foundations certification

                                                                       ISTQB Technical test analyst is a plus

Knowledge of English is mandatory. Besides it, knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
