Python Developer (Java AWS RESTful API SQL NoSQL). Successful start-up is seeking a Senior Python Developer to work on an innovative Cloud based solution that deals with location based data for mobile devices. Your role will involve utilising Python technology to design and develop a web based system that can connect to mobile devices, ensuring the code you create is robust and clean. You will be involved in architectural decisions and will gain exposure to a broad technology stack that includes Python, Java, NoSQL and AWS Cloud technology.

Based in Oxford, with good transport links, you will be part of a friendly team who will support you and encourage you to continually develop.

Requirements:

*Strong development skills including Python

*Experience of backend systems and RESTful architectures exposing API to mobile apps

*SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) database experience

*Previous experience building robust, scalable and reliable Cloud based systems (AWS) for a large number of users

*Degree educated in Computer Science or similar (2:1 or above) and likely to have studied to MSc / PhD level

*Excellent communication skills

*Desirable: Java, Spark, Django, Ruby, Angular, geo-spatial and spatial location data
