Support Engineer (Linux Bash Python Perl JIRA). Fantastic opportunity to join a hardworking and dedicated Support team within a hugely successful financial software house. This is a challenging Support Engineer role which will require you to provide exceptional technical support for a range of highly complex financial trading applications to a large client base.

As a Support Engineer you will be taking on a range of duties including; responding to support requests and any inquiries from clients, supporting customers and resolving issues related to order entry, risk management and exchange connectivity, conducting analysis of complex order and trade histories and improving documentation of support procedures. You will be required to work a variety of shifts from 06:30am starts to 22:00pm finishes.

Requirements:

*Previous experience working as an Application Support Engineer

*Strong knowledge of Linux fundamentals

*Scripting experience (Bash, Perl, Python)

*Excellent communication skills

*Strong problem solving and analytical abilities

*Happy to work a variety of shifts (06:00 - 15:00, 14:00 - 22:00 and 09:00 - 18:00)

*Desirable: JIRA
