A Programme Manager is required for an initial 3 month contract for a local council based in Walsall.

The purpose of this job is to deliver technological change in line with the Council's Transformation Programme, ICT and Digital Strategies.

* Working as a senior member of the ICT Programme Management Office the post holder will provide programme and project management leadership, expertise and appropriate governance to support the effective delivery of digital solutions

* Working closely with the Corporate Transformation Team, support the delivery of technological solutions in line with the Council's ICT Strategy which underpin transformational change programme

* Management of multidisciplinary teams of technical staff, subject matter experts, technology suppliers and project resources working together to delivery clearly defined plans of work.

* Delivery of the ICT Strategy themes responsible for programme documentation, blue prints, business cases and programme plans to support delivery of complex and interrelated technical projects.

* Able to apply appropriate change methodologies including Systems Thinking Methodologies, Managing Successful Programmes, Management of Risk and Prince2 and Agile Project Management.

The council are looking for somebody who has led a Digital Transformation Programme within local councils. Please can you highlight your experience if you are interested.

Day Rate - £400 - £500 per day
