Our client is currently looking for an IT Business Analyst to help them transform the way in which IT projects and initiatives are managed across the business. This role will have a particular focus on the software development product lifecycle.

This is an incredible role for someone with a business analysis background gained within IT or an IT professional with strong business analysis experience. You’ll have the chance to develop and cement your BA experience and help make a real, tangible difference to the way our client thinks about, interacts with and utilises IT.

Your Role:

As a Business Analyst, you will join the IT team and be tasked with delivering business requirements for technology specific projects and other programmes involving IT capability. Embracing and promoting Agile methodology, you will provide clarity at every stage of a project and ensure there is traceability throughout the project process.

You will also:

- Actively work to understand operational business areas and how they currently use technology

- Build relationships with partners across the business to identify and define business problems and opportunities

- Assist with defining, evaluating and agreeing business solution options

- Model processes and activities where appropriate

- Identify project risks, impacts and mitigating actions

About You:

To be considered for this Business Analyst role, you will need one of the following:

- An IT background and some business analysis experience

OR

- Strong business analysis experience gained from an IT perspective

Please note: as this is an IT focused role, business analysis experience gained outside of the IT sphere regrettably cannot be considered.

Ideal candidates will also have an extensive understanding of some or all of the following: analysis techniques, great documenting skills, and/or experience of working with digital solutions, facilitating software testing and creating business process maps.
