Lead Business Analyst (Collective Investments, Investment Trusts, Equities, Bonds and Pensions) ideally with Investment Platforms experience required to work for a leading Financial Services organization based in Essex.

Summary of Role:

Lead the research and analysis required for complex business needs and customer propositions to meet the project deliverables from request to feasibility through to delivery in the business. Work with third parties and senior stakeholders at an executive level. Where there is significant ambiguity, either of the problem or the approach to be taken, drive a clear plan of action clarifying strategy, prioritising activities and building cost/benefit propositions. Accountable for planning all of the analysis work on a project or programme and progress reporting, risk & issue management, change control management and stakeholder reporting / issue resolution for analysis activity at a senior executive level.

The role requires technical expertise and acts with a considerable degree of autonomy. Interaction is mainly internal and largely focussed on presenting very complex information and sophisticated solutions to colleagues at senior level. The role holder manages their own time and workload effectively and has some input to policy and technical decisions for their area of expertise.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience.

Ability to understand and solve complex business issues and understand the impact on the business of proposed solutions

Experienced in business process and use case modelling

A working knowledge of delivering business change

Understanding and experience of at least one structured project methodology and working practice

Knowledge of and experience of creating user stories & use cases

Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Access)

A demonstrable, in-depth experience conducting analysis and logical design with complex system architectures involving the integration of multiple systems including third parties.

Commercial awareness of one or more of the following products Collective Investments, Investment Trusts, Equities, Bonds and Pensions

Working knowledge of Investment Platforms

A strong effective communicator (both verbal and written)
