Senior Project Manager - SC Cleared - Construction

Spring Technology currently have 2 opportunities available for a construction project manager to join a large public sector organisation based in 2 locations. 1 location will be in Westminster and the other location Milton Keynes. The role requires someone who has construction experience and who is SC Cleared.

The Role

The client requires a highly motivated, self-sufficient Senior Construction Project Manager to work within the clients global services group to deliver under tight timescales.

Skills and experience required

* PRINCE2 Practitioner, APMP, ISEB Certificate or Equivalent Project Management qualifications.

* Excellent experience of planning, monitoring and controlling projects using PRINCE2 or other PM related methodologies.

* Excellent experience in planning and delivering medium complexity, multi-skilled projects with values up to £20M.

* Excellent experience in the assessment, mitigation and management of project risk.

* Excellent experience in managing project budgets.

* Excellent experience of deploying medium complexity Estates and security projects in a secure environment.

* Membership of one of the following: RIBA, RICS, ICE, IStruct E, CIBSE

* Excellent experience in managing major construction projects from inception to completion.

* Demonstrable experience in using NEC3, GC works, and FIDIC contracts and documentation in procuring construction

* In-depth understanding of current Legislative and Regulatory framework

* Demonstrable ability to manage and deliver multiple projects within tight timescales and with limited resources, in a number of varied and unique operational environments with numerous technical, political, security, support and logistical challenges.
