Responsibilities

Within this role you will be responsible for the delivery and support of technical solutions and support to our end customers. Key tasks of the role include technical delivery and support, solution design, project installation, testing, documentation, post sales support and trouble shooting.

Working closely as part of an internal team and with external suppliers you will be responsible for the development of the technical capability within the business including support and maintenance for the following technical solutions;

                Microsoft Server, Virtualisation, Office 365, Security & Exchange Applications.

                Office 365, Cloud Technology and Operational deployment

                IEEE802.11 Wireless Networks - Aruba, HP Enterprise, Ruckus, etc

                Ethernet Network Hardware - IP based Netgear, Cisco, HP or similar

                Testing and Documentation, Operations Manuals, Support & End User Guides

                Project Management and Delivery Expertise

                Strict Adherence to all Health and Safety Procedures

                Communication with Customer

                Quality Control of work completed

Accountability

                The position will report to the Technical Service Manager and is part of the wider PW Data Group technical team.

                Operating within agreed customer support agreements -support of solution / end users faults and technical questions through to resolution.

                Solution definition, planning and installation of active equipment projects to deliver within budget and time scales while managing customer expectations.

                Installation and investigation of new solutions and test environment solutions with the PW office environment.

                The technical analyst is responsible for the paperwork from and to the office.

                Installation success will be measured by the achievement of a customer sign off and the job meeting its budget.

                All testing results and operations pack information must be completed on completion of the job.

It will require an individual who has the personal skills to work closely with selected partners and who can ensure that they deliver on time, to budget at the highest quality, as well as having the ability to work as a key member within our team. Customer care is key to the success of PW Data Group going forward and the individual must represent the company in a positive manner always.

The role is a combination of office & field based at customer sites and would suit an individual that is looking to develop and expand their 1st line skills and experience in a dynamic fast-moving company with opportunities available.

A training program for the position will be agreed with the successful candidate to ensure that they have the right skills for the role. (Formal and Informal Training)

Remuneration and Package

                Normal Working Hours 08:30 - 17:30hrs, Mon to Friday.

                Remuneration & Benefits will be discussed on application. But include basic salary, pension and bonus scheme.

                Formal skills requirement assessment and ongoing training will be provided as required to perform the role.

                Expenses accrued in executing the role will be reimbursed and mileage will be paid at standard HMRC rates.
