Systems Project Manager (Fixed-Term Contract)

Our client is now looking for a Systems Project Manager to join them for a contract lasting until December 2019.
As a Systems Project Manager, you will be tasked with managing a change project to replace our client’s current finance and HR/process systems for the group.
You will work across the project, acting as project lead, liaising between business and technical teams and developing business cases.
Additionally, you will:
- Produce and implement project plans and monitor progress
- Document and communicate system requirements
- Manage cost and budgets
- Manage suppliers
- Investigate possible solutions
- Chair systems working groups
To be considered as a Systems Project Manager, you will need:
- Proven project management experience working independently, with strong accountability to deliver multiple projects to plan
- Previous experience in finance systems implementation
- Experience of influencing, advising, managing and motivating third party suppliers
- To be E-literate with strong IT skills and competent in developing, administering and using PC and associated networks and systems (e.g. Microsoft Office) to acquire, manipulate and disseminate information
Experience of working to a project management methodology, such as PRINCE2, Agile or other relevant methodology would be beneficial to your application. Previous experience in HR and payroll systems implementation would also be an advantage, as would an accountancy qualification. Empathy with the engineering community would be equally favourable.
