We are currently working with a fast paced and high growth Data & Analytics consultancy who are looking for an experienced Chief Technologist / Architect to join their teams. They work with client across multiple sectors working on solving some of the most complex problems in the Data and Data science world at the moment.

As Chief Technologist for the UK&I you'll bridge the gap between Technology and Analytics, working closely with the Solutions Lead and Director of Big Data to deliver successful customer projects. This is a consultative role where you'll liaise directly with customers as their "trusted advisor", manage relationships, deliver implementations and be the "thought leader" for multiple Analytics projects. Collaborating with the clients on digital transformation at a strategic level to influence client roadmaps and propose new digital solutions involving technology choices and design patterns aligned with their architectures and roadmaps.

Promoting the Analytics technical point of view, reference architecture, methodology, knowledge management, and driving architectural and technical consistency with global alignment across the regional Build, Sell and Deliver organisations. Having an understanding of AI, ML, Industrialisation and making things happen, innovation and bringing new ideas to life will be key to the success of this role.

Key Skills:

* Enterprise / Solution architecture experience. In particular implementing Big Data Architectures

* Background in Data Analytics

* Leading implementation projects

* Lead experience

* Good understanding of Data Engineering, AI, ML and Industrialisation

* Working within an Agile / DevOps environment would be a clear differentiator

* Customer facing with strong communication skills to C-level.

* Happy to work on client site 3 days per week (2 days remote working, but can vary from project to project -majority of clients are based across the Thames Valley and London - consultants are based in various locations including Devon, Bristol, Reading, London and Essex)

Salary depending on experience, plus 20% bonus, expenses paid, 6% pension match, flexible benefits.
