Systems Engineer-6 Months- Technology- London- £450-500 p/d

My clients are looking for an experienced System Engineer to work within the Cloud Platforms team to support the underlying infrastructure required in a multifaceted environment. The Systems Engineer will provide support to other infrastructure and development teams while helping to deliver a stable, scalable and secure cloud platform.

The Systems Engineer should be very heavily rehearsed and an expert in using AWS. It is a major part of this role and the chosen candidate will need to have proven project experience with AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing the AWS Cloud Platform

* Responsible for maintaining and improving our Cloud hosted applications and services

* Continuous improvement, orchestration and automation of hosted services

* Leveraging AWS best practices with multiple AWS accounts

* Provide support and expertise to multiple development teams

* Implementing Security Best Practice

* Optimising AWS costs

Technical Skills:

* Proven experience deploying and supporting multiple AWS accounts to best practice

* Proven experience with Cloud Formation, Power Shell and cloud technologies

* Proven web hosting experience in an enterprise environment - with a focus on AWS

* Proven experience of general infrastructure in medium / large scale enterprise environments

* Experience using, monitoring and supporting EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Elastic Beanstalk, VPC's

* Solid automation, orchestration and scripting

* Microsoft IIS

* Microsoft Active Directory
