IT Change Administrator

Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit an IT Change Administrator for an initial 6 month contract on a rate of £175-200/day (inside of IR35) based in Edinburgh.

Responsibilities:

* Provide effective co-ordination of IT Change Requests and ensure proper compliance to the organisation's IT policies and procedures.

* Assist with formation of any relevant IT processes and documentation.

* Work with 3rd party suppliers on change related activities.

* Management of IT related documentation, registers and catalogues.

* Coaching and mentoring of junior members of staff.

* Providing IT advice, expertise and consultancy as appropriate to IT Change related activities.

* Management of or contribution to IT Projects in order to maximise opportunities for simplification and efficiency and effectiveness of IT systems.

Requirements:

* Experience working as a Change Administrator/ co-ordinator.

* Experience of IT change management including Change Advisory Board.

* Ability to plan, schedule, prioritise and coordinate the delivery of work activities in support of operational services and project work.

* Experienced in management of internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.

* Experience of project or programme management (preferably in IT environment).

* Working knowledge of IT products and Services.

* Ability to understand requirements and dependencies of IT change.

* Past IT service desk experience would be useful.

* Experience of Digital Strategy implementation would be advantageous.

* Public sector experience would be highly advantageous.
