My client based in Centurion who specialises in company intelligence solutions is currently looking for a data science lead to join their team.

My client promotes a non corporate, fun and flexible environment and are looking for a hardworking individual with the same eagerness.

Responsibilities;

* Improve on and design new statistical models and mentoring more junior members of the team on how to do so

* Provide friendly mentoring to members of the team and be a helping hand within the department

* Optimisation's of technical procedures in SAS Python, SQL and R

* Be able to effectively explain processes and events to external clients and stakeholders

Requirements;

* Minimum 5 years experience in analysis and statistical analytics in a similar environment

* Hands on working experience of SAS, SQL, R and Python

* Knowledge of development languages such as Matlab

* Minimum of a bachelors degree in a related field
