Data Analyst /MI Analyst / SQL / Business Intelligence / Permanent / Birmingham / West Midlands

Leading client based in central Birmingham are looking for an experienced Data Analyst / MI Analyst to join their growing Database team. You will be required to work closely with systems, business teams and clients to deliver and maintain the clients Business Intelligence and Performance Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

·Review feasibility of requirements Analyse existing data systems and identify improvements based on previous experiences

·Develop a standard set of analytic tools and friendly visuals so our client teams can provide a consist approach to data analytics across their client base

·Develop the use of Business Intelligence tools

·Document and map linkages between all data sources

·Be the primary contact between the Systems team, the Business Unit and any third party in regards to data analysis

·Provide ad hoc analysis for both internal client teams and the client to an agreed service level

·Develop the businesses- analytical and performance management techniques to improve service and client performance

·Develop trends and create models to estimate future circumstances

·Provide data readiness reviews before implementation and manage any issues arising

Skills and Experience:

·Ability to extract, interpret and analyse disparate sources

·SQL Coding Excel formulae and recent experiences of using BI/CPM tool

·A logical and methodical approach to data management

·Experience working with databases

·Experience with SQL or other database programming languages

·Flexible and able to work to strict deadlines

·Proven experience interacting with senior management, end users and third parties

·Ability to support users post go live

·Ability to work in an agile environment

·Understands the importance of data quality
