Role: Manufacturing ManagerLocation: The role is based in Oxfordshire, commutable from; Oxford, Swindon, Reading, Aylesbury, Slough, Newbury and surrounding areas.My client designs and manufacturers a range of highly complex electro-mechanical products across a broad range of sectors. They are well known within the industry for successful, high quality and world changing products, they are constantly developing technology and products to stay ahead of their competition, so exciting times are ahead. This Manufacturing Manager role will give you the opportunity to work your way up a multi-million pound organisation and make a fundamental impression on their manufacturing unit.They are now looking for a Manufacturing Manager to come on board and play a key part in driving their manufacturing department forward.An overview of the role includes: '€¢Lead and manage a team of up to 15 technical engineers (manufacturing, production, process)'€¢New product introduction, development - leading projects from concept through to manufacture'€¢Provide a link between product development and the manufacturing department'€¢Ensure the correct processes, documentation and tooling are in place to ensure products are manufactured to a high quality, on time and within budget'€¢Implement continuous improvement and process improvements across the business unit'€¢Create an optimised and efficient business unit'€¢Develop manufacturing processes and equipment'€¢Broad experience driving productivity, performance and improving manufacturing processes'€¢Proven experience working with a highly complex, low volume manufacturer Salary: Up to £50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits (Negotiable DOE)This is a brand new requirement and my client is looking to bring a Manufacturing Manager on board as soon as possible.
