Java developer - CI Security SSL Jenkins Artefactory Cyberark REST API - Investment Bank

Java developer (70%) with either c# and C++ desirable. You don't need to have c#, C++ but must be willing to learn or work on either. You must be experienced in providing multi-disciplined technical support as part of a team, and have practical knowledge of performance and capacity management from an application, database and network perspective as well as strong aptitude for automation. A strong team player, be able to consider multiple view points in the course of their work and be diligent in their work. Being able to think outside of the box and have original ideas is essential.

Production experience across the following:

                     Strong skills in CI pipelines utilising industry standard products such as Jenkins, teamcity, bitbucket, artefactory and cyberark/security system integration

                     Good knowledge of JAVA, C#

                     Good knowledge of security implementations (cyberark, vault, json tokens etc), SSL and HTTPS.

                     Knowledge on web technologies such as Apache, Reverse Proxies.

                     Knowledge of RESTAPI's and how to implement a REST API

                     Infrastructure - general understanding of global infrastructure, Firewalls, networking and security considerations in these areas to ensure production releases go smoothly

                     Analytical skills - Ability to analyse code and troubleshoot quickly and efficiently

                     Ability to liaise with developers, team members and customers at the appropriate level

                     Maintain standards to ensure consistency across applications and server estate

                     Understanding of application life cycle and Agile methodology

                     Build test harnesses to simulate scenarios and load test platforms

Role:

The development role will be part of a multi-disciplined team which is responsible for the development and L3 support for platforms under their remit. The role involve improving and making recommendations to existing code, profiling and performance testing and ensuring CI pipelines are maintained and/or implemented. The candidate needs to think openly and make suggestions for more open discussion within the team. Key languages are C# and Java in which most platforms are written. Candidate must be able to work with an open mind set and be able to report back on progress and blocking issue, work to dev sprints and be able to collate new user requirements, liaise with customer SPOC's to assess importance and priorities of changes based on business need and impact.
