SAS Developers - Manchester - 12 Month Contract
My client, a large technology and outsourcing organisation are looking for 3 SAS Developers for a long term engagement. The role will be based on customer site in Manchester working alongside a Financial Services company and can offer a competitive daily rate.
Project Background:
* Migrating from an existing SAS 9.2 grid to a new SAS 9.4 grid so the role will work around remediation of existing SAS code to ensure it works on the new grid.
Essential Skills/Experience:
* Must have extensive SAS experience in 9.1, 9.2 and 9.4
* Proven experience working with SAS developer environment
* Base SAS
* SAS DI Studio
* SAS Enterprise Guide
* Design and develop business intelligence / data warehousing / reporting applications that utilise specialised tools/products
Desirable Skills/Experience:
* Any work on previous migration from one SAS grid to another would be perfect - not essential experience though
* Hadoop experience would be of interest.
* Financial Sector experience would be beneficial
