Can you help us make the most of our HR data for business insights?
At BP we’re striving to meet growing global demand for safe, sustainable and affordable energy. That means creating a more efficient, streamlined business that makes the best possible use of all its resources, including human resources.
We’re evolving every part of our operation to transform the way people connect, work and make time to think. We’re modernizing and simplifying our team and data structures. And our Global HR Services team is at the heart of this new way of working. A global shared services organization, we are the first point of contact for policy and process enquiries. We’re also dedicated to delivering the best possible customer experience.
About the opportunity
Data drives decision-making in our modernized organization and you’ll be central to the success of internal HR operational and service management reporting. With much reporting now automated, you’ll be free to focus on more complex requests. Typically you might draw data from Workday and Salesforce CRM, to run and create reports, as well as advising and educating colleagues on the increasing use of self-service reports. You will also focus on continuous improvement of the reporting service.
About you
You’re likely to have worked as a Reporting Analyst using systems such as Workday report build, Business Objects BI or Microsoft Power BI. Highly numerate and business focused, you’ll be capable of analysing system-generated data quickly and effectively to inform commercial decisions. At the same time you’ll have strong communication skills and the ability to build sound business relationships. Capable of working independently, you will also know when to seek advice from more senior colleagues.
