IT Supplier Relationship Manager

One of our public sector clients is seeking an IT Supplier Relationship Manager to join their Midlands based team on a 12 month FTC. You will be responsible for the delivering supplier relationship management and contract performance and supporting the Supplier Relationship Manager in delivering the supplier strategy.

You will maximise the benefits of high value and commercial arrangements, whilst ensuring effective supplier management and internal governance is embedded within the IT teams.

IT Supplier Relationship Manager duties will include, but not limited to:

*Assist with the IT supplier strategy, delivering relationship and contract management, driving maximum value from complex supplier relationships and commercial arrangements

*Lead resolution activity in situation where service improvement is required

*Propose, negotiate and deliver improvements to contracts with suppliers

*Take ownership of building relationships with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers

*Provide an internal commercial assurance function to ensure that the behaviours and practices of the suppliers does not conflict

*Aid delivery of strategic business requirement, recommending appropriate commercial options

As the IT Supplier Relationship Manager, you will be required to possess:

*Strong experience with IT Supplier relationship management

*Comprehensive understanding of contract lifecycle management

*Demonstrable experience delivering industry standard IT/ICT best practices (such as ITIL)

*A working knowledge of procurement regulations

*Previous experience managing complex, high value strategic commercial IT supplier relationships and contracts, including bring on board the service of new agreements

*Demonstrable experience of delivering IT solutions and services in support of and IT strategy in a complex, high value, multi supplier IT environment

*Experience managing internal and external stakeholders/relationship management
