IT Manager (Hands-On / Technical)

up to £45,000 + benefits

Our client is a specialist group working within the aerospace industry. They provide and supply high technology materials within the aerospace, defence, energy and electronics industries, and are one of Europe's largest specialist coatings and chemical suppliers.

This successful organisation is looking to hire a permanent hands-on IT Manager to be responsible for all aspects of Information Technology across the business, from IT Infrastructure and Systems Management, to Project Management and responsibility for the MS Dynamics AX System. This is a stand-alone role, whereby you would be the sole IT professional on site, managing 3rd party suppliers for IT services.

Responsibilities / Skills / Environment

-Manage IT Infrastructure and Systems (Upgrades / Rollouts / Procurement)

-Manage Dynamics AX applications alongside an external AX partner

-Manage and work closely with external IT suppliers and service providers

-Manage IT Security (Data, Network, BackUp Systems)

-IT Project Management

-Point of call of IT issues and support alongside IT Partners

-Understanding of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 ERP System

-Full IT Management of organisation (70 users) across multiple sites

Technical environment: ERP Microsoft Dynamics AX, Windows Server/Desktop, networking, security.
