Leading client and renowned global leader in their field are seeking an experienced and energetic Network Engineer to impact, support, enhance and drive their network infrastructure services forward.

In this role you will be required to offer a high-level of hands-on technical support and BAU as well as functional and technical consultative input towards improving services, taking ownership of projects and making recommendations towards the pursuit of a world class network service across a global front.

You will have a strong technical background within large LAN/WAN multiprotocol infrastructures and be tasked with supporting a growing organisations business objective of shaping and defining their network services function.

You will need a proven understanding of Data Centre Environments including LAN/WAN frameworks and offer your expertise with design, alignment, change and integration to ensure new strategies and initiatives are fit for purpose.

You will be required to implement best practices across the network infrastructure service using a structured, team player, proactive and analytical approach.

Required Technical Skills:

* Core Edge Network Infrastructure

* Cisco Nexus 5K Range

* Virtual Networks, Virtual Switching & Routing

* vLAN's & Network Security

* Firewalls, Cisco, Checkpoint, ASA, Fortigate, Juniper

* Cisco UCS (FlexPod desirable)

* Solarwinds

* LAN/WAN Architecture and Topology

* Multi Protocol environemnt, MPLS, BGP, RIP

You will be required to ensure business requirements are translated into IT solutions which align with strategy, standards and industry best practice by:

* Identifying and assessing network issues and problems

* Scoping and assessment of network service improvements

* Defining and justifying network service enhancements

* Balancing functional, quality of service quality and systems support

Must have - Certifications:

* Minimum of CCNP with proven technical expertise used in the arena

* SC - Gaining Security Clearance will be part of this hiring process
