We are an innovative SMB IT Tech Consultancy based in Brighton UK, one of the leading digital tech hub locations. Due to continued expansion and to service greater demand, we are looking for OutSystems Developers to work on various customer projects across the UK. This particular vacancy is for a 6 month contract in Cardiff.

Key Requirements

- Minimum 1-3 years experience with the OutSystems Platform (from a developer perspective)

- Completed on-line and workshop based OutSystems training

- Technical background in software and web development.

- Interest in problem-solving in general;

- Able to work independently, under minimal supervision;

- Self-motivated and able to seek guidance when in need;

- Proactive attitude, suggesting new ways to do things better. Lead the change;

- Team player with great work ethics and accountability;

- Ability to mentor and coach less experienced team members

- Bachelors or Masters Degree ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline

- Fluent English verbal and written skills are mandatory

- Authorised to work unrestricted in the UK without the need for sponsored Visa

Advantageous Technologies and Experience

Working as an OutSystems developer means you will be working with different technologies in a wide range of potential environments, therefore, additional technology experience in any of the following is advantageous.

Technical background in software and web development, including:

- Operating Systems (Windows or Linux)

- Application Servers (IIS or JBoss)

- Databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL)

- Web application development: JavaScript, CSS, and HTML;

- SOA architectures, Web Services, XML and object-oriented programming languages (C#, Java preferred);

Any experience with the following is also desirable:

- Public cloud providers (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud)

- Virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, VirtualBox

- Communications Protocols (TCP, HTTP/S, FTP, DNS, SSH)
