Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit a Business Analyst for an initial 8 month contract on a rate of £350-400/day (outside of IR35) based in Glasgow.

Responsibilities:

* Developing and implementing plans for improving business analysis services.

* Provide expertise and lead on the analysis stakeholders shall follow with a recognisable methodology (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

* Proactively identify opportunities for improvement to existing processes and Business systems.

* Responsible for conducting stakeholder analysis to ensure efficient internal controls are put in place to build effective and strong relationships with key stakeholder groups.

* Lead on defining, documenting and ratifying the requirements engineering specifications for both business and systems for moderate to high risk change.

* Support stakeholders in their business process optimisation efforts to improve data capture, data processing, data integrity and data.

* Produce the right set of document/process maps as required by the project and ensure smooth transition to BAU.

* Work alongside the Project and Programme Manager to ensure that project plans are created, documented, maintained and that the project objectives are delivered in accordance with the agreed plans and budgets.

Requirements:

* Highly experienced Business Analyst with experience working within an environment supporting complex, multi-faceted and cross functional programmes/projects.

* Experience of stakeholder engagement and management.

* Ability to elicit, understand, capture and document requirements in a structured and efficient manner that are suitable for use by Enterprise/Technical Architects, DBAs, developers, testers and non-technical stakeholders.

* ITIL Foundation Level is desirable.

* Prince2 is advantageous.

* Public sector experience is highly advantageous.
