Contract Business Analyst - Web and Mobile - Mobile applications (iOS / Android Native)

As an established recruiting partner to this prestigious global organisation, we have been asked to identify a Contract Agile Business Analyst to join a new, but ambition sector of this organisation. Experiencing a constant growth in the mobile device market, this role has been created to work as part of a large Agile iOS and Android Scrum.

With customer experience their key focus, you will form part of a forward-thinking team of technical and business experts working on large scale projects. With the goal to deliver a complex landscape of systems and applications, this organisation is seeking a driven and determined Technical Business Analyst who is capability of liaising with stakeholder of all levels and is able to gather full understanding of user stories.

Key Responsibilities:

*Participating in workshops with key stakeholders to capture user stories.

*Refining user stories, ensuring they have clearly defined and testable acceptance criteria.

*Working closely with the Scrum teams, contributing to functional design and solution

*Ensuring technical solution meets requirements and functional solution.

*Working closely with the QA and SIT test teams to ensure successful rollout of new features.

*Supporting UAT to investigate and assist in resolution of defects raised.

*Demonstrating completed user stories to stakeholders.

*Maintaining functional specifications

*Working closely with Product Owner and other Business Analysts within the program to ensure integrity of the end-to-end solution.

Qualifications

Key Experience:

*Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar discipline

*Business and functional analysis experience.

*Strong IT Business Analyst/ Functional Design experience.

*Experience in writing and refining user stories.

*In-depth experience of AGILE/SCRUM methodologies

*Demonstrable experience working in a BDD environment

*Work with Product Owner (PO) and team to define Minimum Viable Product and subsequent priorities using story mapping

*Ability to elicit requirements to assist in developing product roadmap

*Ability to create effective user stories that follow the INVEST principles

*Experience and skills in process mapping/workflow

*Demonstrable Value Stream Mapping experience

*Engage with external and internal stakeholders in order to gain requirements whilst ensuring full traceability

*Experience of eliciting requirements through workshops, interviews, user groups, surveys or by exchanging correspondence, both individually and with groups

*Ability to ensure Non Functional Requirements are identified and agreed

*Work with the team and the Product Owner to ensure the User Stories are Ready for Play at the appropriate time

*Challenge proposed Epics/User Stories to ensure alignment to vision & objectives of the project

*Showcase developed stories to Product Owners

*Work with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery through Agile methodologies

*Mapping "as is" processes and the modelling of "to be" processes

*Drive discussions around value to ensure outcomes are maximised and output minimised

Desired Experience:

*2-3 years' experience delivering of commercial Mobile applications (iOS / Android Native)

*3+ years' experience of business analysis in a fast paced Agile environment

*Airline experience preferred, but will consider candidates with strong functional design experience

*Knowledge of Agile scaling techniques is advantageous

*Facilitate requirement prioritisation through a range of techniques

*Ability to create business process diagrams using standardised notation

*Competency with understanding Entity Relationship Modelling, XML, web-services and standardised integration catalogues

*Facilitate collaborative specification using techniques such as Specification by Example or BDD

*Produce and maintain relevant metrics that help the scrum teams measure their performance, providing MI detailing the progress on development and delivery.

*A history of working on software focused change projects
