Data Protection Manager - Retail Banking Group

Salary up to £60,000 with bonus and great benefits

Client is a well-known retail banking group, are looking to recruit an experienced Data Protection Manager.

The role will look at how the business can embed Data Protection and processes into the Risk Management Framework whilst providing advice to the business on Data Protection Governance.

The main responsibilities will include:

* Supporting the DPO in ensuring an effective Governance framework is in place for Data Protection.

* Delivery of the Data Protection Governance Framework.

* Support the DPO in shaping the CO-OP Data Protection Strategy and helping to deliver this.

* Coaching of several indirect reports.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

* Proven experience and expertise in in Data Protection.

* Confidence to quickly establish effective relationships across all levels of the organisation.

* Understanding of Data Protection Risk Management.

* Ideally, experience in a large-scale business.

* Relevant qualifications and a background in risk and compliance would be beneficial for this role.
