Job Title - Lead Developer (API)

Location- Darlington

Key skills

* Strong hands on experience in ASP.Net 4 and above. Specifically ASP.NET Core and ASP.NET WEB API.

* Strong hands on experience in C#, Dot Net Framework.

* Hands on Experience in Azure API management, OAuth 2.0 and claims based authentication.

* Hands on Development experience in Web API with any Web Services

* Hands on Development experience Microsoft Entity Framework.

* Experience in developing APIs for Azure and deploying them to Azure API services or Web App Services.

* Experience in developing APIs to be used in Microservices.

* Knowledge of using Azure Functions, Logic App as Microservices.

* Microsoft Azure SQL Server

* Java-script

* HTML/CSS

Key Responsibilities

* Designing and implementing applications, components, and services as a senior member of a scrum team

* Developing applications based on the Microsoft stack for API development, together with any associated reports & business processes.

* Low Design creation and contribute as required for the High Level Design.

* Creation of design specifications and technical documents based on analysis of requirements and functional specifications

* Closely work with domain experts to define and refine the application

* Work with Development Manager on estimates, project status, and issue tracking

* Assist in the preparation of test plans for the completed system

* Troubleshoot and debug functional and performance problems

* Maintain knowledge of latest technologies developed by Microsoft

* Full software development life cycle responsibilities including writing specs, designing and implementing code, testing, and deploying software.

* Designing and building solutions in .NET 4.0 or higher technologies (C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET Core), XML, schemas, and SQL Server.

* Designing and building responsive web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Bootstrap, Angular

* Strong T-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS knowledge.

* Strong knowledge of design principles OOD, Design Patterns, N-tier architecture, TDD.

* Ability to convert business requirements into high functional code.

* Ability to quickly assimilate new and complex technologies and concepts.
