SC Oracle Developer (with DBA)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an SC Oracle Developer (with DBA experience) to work in a 6 month contract with a major organisation in London/from home. EXTENSIONS ARE EXPECTED.

You will have experience working as an applications DBA supporting a large Oracle database application. This role is more development rather than DBA work (70/30 split). There is a lot of database code to support and develop which is written in PL/SQL.

The successful applicant will be one of two DBAs responsible for the development and maintenance of a national CMS database with a Java front end. There is some flexibility in regard to home working, but the applicant will also be expected to work from time to time at locations in Sheffield, London and Newcastle at their own expense.
