My client, a well-known organisation in Melbourne are seeking an IT Project Manager for a very large infrastructure, data rellocation Project.

* Initial six months, very likely to extend (18 month project)

* Excellent daily rate

Responsibilities

* Two data migration projects (one interstate)

* Planning, presenting ideas, testing

* Change management

* Assessing risk, budget, time frames

* Managing stakeholders

Mandatory Requirements:

* Proven Data Centre Relocation Experience (Infrastructure and Enterprise Applications) - possibly for banks etc

* Understand impact of the business

* Excellent stake holder management at all levels of Organisation (operational staff and/or Senior GMs & Executives)

* Well-developed Communication and Presentation skills (verbal and written)

* Exceptional Team Management Skills

Other Requirements:

* Experience in managing small to medium scale Infrastructure projects (Server upgrades, Servers or Network equipment Replacement, Wi-Fi rollout, office re-locations)

* Experience or exposure to managing Infrastructure mobilisation projects (Computer racks, wiring & patching, network equipment & printers)

* Experience in business analysis & writing business cases

* Proven experience managing projects finances from $100K to $2.0M

* Willing to Travel Interstate if required
