My client is a financial technology institution based in the heart of the city. They produce complex algorithms and software to allow individuals in the fixed income market to asses the liquidity of an asset, based on the global market in a matter of milliseconds. For both the buying and selling of assets.

You will become an integral part of the team building a greenfield system from the ground up in a highly Agile environment.

The tech stack:

* Java for code

* Spring Boot & Cloud for containers

* MySQL/Oracle for database

Duties:

* You will report to the Head of Backend development, you will be responsible for enhancing and creating Java microservices

* Work in a highly Agile environment

* Develop in existing code base and greenfield environment

* Participate in systems design and requirement analysis

* Collaborate with other teams to ensure software is delivered in a timely manner keeping to deadlines

* Evaluate new technologies to enhance software architecture
