PMO Analyst (Jira/ ERP Workstream) - 6-month contract - Cambridge

You will be responsible for maintaining, improving and making efficient the governance of the Programme and work with each of the workstream leads and other PMO analysts to ensure compliance and adherence to the PMO standards.

You will also be responsible for programme reporting, planning and RAID management across the programme.

Responsibilities

* Support the implementation of governance standards across the portfolio, including tracking, monitoring and updating the status of programme deliverables

* Manage programme level risks and issues register in Jira

* Carry out assurance review processes as required by the PMO Manager

* Liaise with other PMO Analyst's across the portfolio so that standards are implemented consistently across all workstreams.

* Update and administer the programme plan as required using reports from Programme / Project Managers

* Manage programme meetings from scheduling, minutes taking, to action tracking

* Prepare consolidated material from project reports for weekly review

* Support implementation of the quality strategy, including any processes and templates, across all projects / programmes

* Co-ordination of publication, review and sign-off of major project / programme deliverables

* Ensuring project plans are created and maintained, deliverables tracked against time and cost, and resource utilisation is monitored

* Provide mid term 'look ahead' insight to potential plan related, deliverable or resource capacity risks to enable proactive management action to be undertaken by the Programme management

* Ensure timely escalation to PMO Manager or Programme Director of issues / risk and blockers.

* Managing the programme SharePoint site

* To undertake ad hoc duties as required

Key Skills:

* Must be able to work in a fast moving multi-faceted environment

* Knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages, including Project, Powerpoint, Viso, Word and Excel

* Able to create and manage Microsoft project plans

* Knowledge and experience of using Jira in Agile and waterfall deliveries, for risks, issues and product backlogs and plans

* Strong communications skills, both written and verbal

* Understanding of the importance for detail and organisation

* Skill at managing stakeholder groups and balancing diplomacy and tact with assertiveness

* A strong customer centric approach

* Ability to grasp concepts quickly

* Good stakeholder management, ability to converse in business language rather than project speak

* Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies such as Prince, Agile, Lean and Six Sigma

* Ability to work independently and manage elements of delivery along with the ability to prioritisation tasks to balance key priorities

Experience Required:

* Experience of programme co-ordination/administration

* Knowledge of project management tools and techniques.

* End-to-end experience across a number of projects / programmes
