My client an Energy Trading Company based in Sunbury requires a SQL Lead Developer who will coordinate and deliver activities related to the development of ETL database on SQL server (ETL Tool) to help with transformation HR data values in to specified well defined excel/load template format.

Skills and Experiences

ETL/Data Integration Specialist with 3-5 years of experience in an enterprise business environment).

Exposure to MS SQL 2008 R2/2012+ with T-SQL experience.

Experience working with high volume data exchange and integrating large structured and unstructured data in multiple formats character sets, and delivery methods.

SSIS: 5+ experience

Transact SQL: 5+ experience

SQL database administration

5-plus years hands-on experience with SQL Server 2012 or newer

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude

Strong SQL skills and well versed in developing views/stored procedures

Well versed in business analysis to prepare logical and physical models

Experience with SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) is a plus

Database Performance trouble shooting and remediation

Good data analysis and data quality assessment skills

Prior Experience: 5+ years ETL development experience preferably using Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools/BIDS, with deep and thorough hands-on use of T-SQL.

5+ years of experience in relational and data warehouse database design, optimization and performance; preferably with MS SQL Server.

Expertise/working knowledge in Azure Data Factory, SSIS Runtime and Azure SQL.

7+ years in a structured IT organization with a variety of methodologies, and strong technical environment management.

Experience with multiple SDLC methodologies Waterfall and Agile.

Extensive experience with data dictionaries, data analysis and relational databases.

Proven understanding of SQL optimization (indexing and ability to interpret and act on execution plans).

This SQL Lead developer will co-ordinate the activities to build logic for transformation by understanding the requirements from other analyst and built as per the requirements with through testing.

The SQL Lead developer will need to create strong, collaborative relationships with other developers and with workday data analysts to ensure requirements are correctly understood and logic is built as per spec.

Specific Accountabilities

Migration support and co-ordinate the end to end company data migration process for all phases; assist with completeness of development of ETL tool.

Data Transformation Understands the data transformation process to build logic for seamless conversion of data from one system to another.

Development Understand requirement to build the transform logic to produce file in the defined format.

Architecture Knowledge and experience of building data table architectures to define logic for current transformation.

Communicate Help communicate with developers transforming business requirement in to technical language and visa-versa.
