Senior Network Security Engineer - Edinburgh

Fantastic opportunity for a network security engineer to take on a more senior role in a large UK wide organisation.

You will be responsible for the implementation of customer projects, carrying out design review, build and leading the implementation within the project team.

Essential Skills

A minimum of 5 years network security specific experience, predominantly working with the following tools

* Firewalls - Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet

* Loadbalancing - f5

* Cloud Security - Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services

Knowledge of network routing/switching (VLANs, trunking, link aggregation, routing protocols, multi cast, other LAN protocols).

Extensive experience in configuration and administration of routing and security protocols (IPSec, SSL, VPN, DNS, DHCP, SSH, QoS).

Desirable Skills

Experience working within the requirements of a change management system, or Experience of team leadership or people management, in a networking, support or security environment.

* SIEM, IDS, IPS

* Threat Management

* Vulnerability Assessments
