Senior IT Systems Engineer

Leatherhead, Berkshire (office/field based, covering London and the South-East)

£50,000 Plus Benefits

As a leading technology provider, our client uses the latest technologies to manage and maintain their customers’ IT systems. Operating at the forefront of their industry, they work very closely with a range of schools and colleges. Now, they’re looking for a Senior IT Systems Engineer to join their team.

As a Senior IT Systems Engineer, you will:

- Support clients’ IT systems and networks

- Join a supportive, collaborative IT Services Delivery Team

- Design, and deliver cutting edge projects for networks, server systems, storage, cloud and cyber security

- Visit client sites to implement technologies

- Introduce new technologies into clients’ environments and our client’s business

To be considered as a Senior IT Systems Engineer, you will need at least five years’ experience in a senior technical role as a system admin and/or infrastructure engineer.

Any of the following would be beneficial (it is expected that you will have at least one from the list below):

- Industry recognised qualifications, such as MCSE, VCP or CCNA

- Expert knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Server, Exchange, AD, Azure, Systems Centre or Office 365

- Expert network technology knowledge, including wired and wireless, firewalls, switching, DNS, DHCP or IP protocols

- Storage systems knowledge, including RAID and SAN

- Excellent working knowledge of cyber security systems and configurations

- Experience of working with DellEMC, VMware, HyperV, Cisco, HP, Brocade or Ruckus
