UX Designer

One of our top Utilities clients is seeking a UX Designer to join their growing team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively with your UX peers, from varying UX backgrounds. You will share expert knowledge of digital user experience to deliver strong interactive design principles.

You will be responsible for designing and executing exceptional and industry leading digital experiences, ensuring the business ethos is at heart throughout this. You will champion the customer experience whilst maintaining and achieving business needs/requirements.

UX Designer duties will include but not limited to:

*Planning of the UX stream of work

*Production of UX Documentation (user journeys/wireframes/sitemaps/functional specifications/style guides)

*Optimisation of company website

*Development of interaction models, conceptual frameworks and wireframes

*Engage with stakeholders at all levels across the business, reporting on project updates and investment return

*Define the digital user experience, working closely with all business areas to ensure business needs are met, but customer experience is delivered

*Utilise web analytics, MVT and personalisation technology to ensure the delivery of KPI's

*Mentor other members of the User Experience design team

As the UX Designer you will be required to possess:

*Proven experience working as a User Experience Designer/User Experience Architect/Interaction Designer

*Experience working within a high traffic website environment previously

*Strong knowledge managing user centred design activity

*Previous experience with research and deign methodologies - defining site architecture and navigation/user testing/stakeholder interviews/card sorting exercises/persona development/wireframing and prototyping

*Proficient use of Axure

*Experience with Creative Suite would be beneficial

*Educated to degree level
