Technical Consultant - Database Developer

My Edinburgh based client are looking to bring on a Technical Consultant, the role will be focusing on Database Development using Microsoft SQL, T-SQL, SSRS, SSAS and programming tools such as C#, .Net, JavaScript and HTML.

Responsibilities

* Design and implement data solutions, using technologies such as MS SQL and T-SQL

* Work with various cloud services, such as Microsoft Azure

* Optimise the Data for speed, scalability, reliability and performance

* Identify any technical issues, taking ownership and resolving the issue

* Work closely with clients and internal team, using resources and account managers where required

Key Skills

* Around 3 years commercial experience in Database Development using MS SQL and T-SQL

* ETL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SSDT experience

* Understanding of database design, modelling and performance, including query tuning

* Experience of developing using other programming languages such as C#, .Net Framework, Web etc.
