Sharepoint 2013/2016 Middleware Engineer - IIS Active Directory - Investment bank

Sharepoint middleware Engineer is required with advanced Technical Skills and experience in all aspects of SharePoint 2013 and 2016 administration including:

Using PowerShell to troubleshoot and maintain the environment. BI integration. SharePoint Apps. Windows Server 2012, 2016. IIS, Active Directory. Office Web Applications

Security knowledge - vulnerability management, hardening, web access firewall requirements, DMZ architecture. SSL Certificate Management. Web authentication methods including Kerberos, SAML. Knowledge of load balancers. Advanced Excel. Microsoft Project & Visio. Desirable: Microsoft Certifications, AvePoint DocAve, Dynatrace, K2 blackpearl. MS SQL Server, .Net development/scripting, Infrastructure standards for servers, networks and storage. Good understanding of Web Services model. Previously used ServiceNow as a Service Desk Management product. Knowledge of Process & Quality management, ITIL, Agile principles including SCRUM and Kanban.

Role:

The Middleware Team designs, builds and supports the infrastructure for many web technologies.

The role is split between architectural/project-based tasks and third-line support of multiple global SharePoint farms.

The team is globally responsible for the SharePoint platform across EMEA, AMER and APAC with an application support team based in two locations in India acting as a single, global team.

It is an administration and architecture, not development role, though some development skills are useful for troubleshooting and implementing more bespoke solutions.

We use the full range of SharePoint 2013 and 2016 functionality, augmented with custom solutions and third-party tools, and would expect the successful candidate to have extensive experience across these.
