Spring Technology are seeking a .Net Developer to join our market leading client based in York.

The main purpose of the role is to deign and test large scale digital health services to meet customer requirements. This post requires a combination of technical expertise, creativity and strategic thinking with plenty of opportunity to work with the latest technologies.

The main responsibilities of the role:

*Working closely with the Lead Developer to design and implement web based digital health systems, patient portals, integration platforms, databases and reporting to support product development and customer requirements.

*Manage and develop the infrastructure necessary to maintain agreed levels of service provision and to support development plans, including source control, testing and release management;

*Manage individual projects as directed

*Report to relevant Department/team committees as required and undertake projects for them as required.

*Research new developments in web and digital health technologies and work with the team to advise the Director on the potential and applicability of such developments.

*Track developments in database and web technologies and standards.

*Ensure optimal availability, security and performance of web infrastructure

*Work closely and supportively with other systems and database administrators and with colleagues who provide end-user support for web-based services; will act as project manager for specific projects.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years in a similar role and have experience within the following:

*Knowledge of database and web technologies including: C#, ASP.Net, Visual Studio, SQL Server, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX and CSS

*Skilled within .Net

*Able to administer Microsoft SQL Server and IIS web server
