Software Engineer (C#, .NET)

We are currently looking for passionate Software Engineers (x3) to join our Integration Platform team. The platform is hosted fully in Microsoft Azure cloud.

The integration platform is built using micro-services design pattern and modern cloud architectures. The platform contains 100+ microservices which utilises the benefits of Azure service fabric as the scalable infrastructure, server less architecture using Azure functions, decoupled message based architecture using Azure service bus, Azure API management and many other great Azure technologies.

We use the standard .net framework, have not moved into using .net core yet and use C# 6.0 and 7.0. VSTS online is our CI/CD tool, we practice TDD with nUnit as the runner and practice BDD and use specflow, the cucumber framework based tool.

THE REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to demonstrate the experience of design, implementation and testing of .Net based RESTful APIs in a similar role

- Demonstrable and Significant Experience in .Net Frameworks using C#

- Demonstrable experience in practising TDD and BDD

- Demonstrable skills with concepts such as AOP, Dependency Injection, S.O.L.I.D principles, DDD and Mocking.

- Strong experience of developing secure Web APIs

- Experience with WCF (Windows Communication Foundation)

- Experience with SQL Server & TSQL (indexes, functions, triggers etc)

- Experience with SOA & Microservices architecture patterns.

- Exposure to Cloud Technologies Azure/AWS, Azure Service Fabric, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus is advantageous.

- Experience working in an Agile team as well as understanding the benefits and draw backs of Agile and Waterfall development.

- Capable of shaping requirements where there is ambiguity or lack of direction

- Experienced in coaching and mentoring mid and junior level developers
