IT Infrastructure Engineer (Software & Systems)

£30,000 - £35,000 + Training + Progression + Excellent Benefits

Are you an Infrastructure Engineer or Support Analyst looking for a step up in a hands on role where you will look after Software & Systems for a world leading Research Centre?

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a huge range of latest Technology IT Systems and get exposure and training to some great technologies, as you join a small knit team in this varied role.

This company specialise R&D of Manufacturing & IT industry. They are partly government and privately funded and have outstanding facilities in Coventry and can offer you not only a great salary & benefits package but also training and career development.

This role would suit either an already established Infrastructure Engineer who looks after Software Applications & Systems or a Support Desk Analyst / 2nd, 3rd Line Support looking to progress.

The Role:

-Act as the technical lead for Services & Applications such as:

?Systems Centre Suite

?Security Management Software

?Hyper V

?Windows Server 2012 OS Support & deployment

?PowerShell

?Server application support

-Training on missing packages will be provided however an enthusiasm in IT is essential

The Candidate:

-Able to demonstrate an understanding of the Microsoft Stack

-Exposure to Application & Software Systems

-Looking for training and development to become a Lead Infrastructure Engineer
