An expanding company that specialises in designing and building websites and smart phone applications for the education and childcare sector is seeking a Senior Wordpress / Web Developer / Graphic Designer to join its team based in Liverpool. You will receive many benefits such as a 25 days holiday and much more.The company is at the forefront of this innovative technology and is focusing on selling their products and services to education authorities, schools, nurseries, academies and other organisations throughout the UK.
As a Senior Wordpress / Web Developer / Graphic Designer your duties will include:
Designing and building websites from concept to completion.Meeting clients face to face to obtain their brief and come up with various design concepts to suit their needs.Interpreting client’s ideas for layout, function and user interaction.Maintaining existing websites and improving others using your own ideas and skills.Designing & delivering presentations to clients thus supporting the sales team to help close the sale.Designing comprehensive training materials and user guides to assist with training.Providing training to clients once the website is complete and ready to handover.Developing a strategy to ensure the design & build process runs smoothly from start to finish and managing the client’s expectations throughout.Reporting to the Managing Director.
To be a successful Senior Wordpress / Web Developer / Graphic Designer you will have the following skills and experience:
Previous experience in setting up the online hosting and providing technical support and after care.Previous experience in logo design, marketing materials, banner design, print & promotional brochures.Experience within HTML5 / PHP / MYSQL / JavaScript / CSS3 / jQuery or responsive web design.Previous experience as a Graphic Designer.Experienced in Wordpress.Design capability in Photoshop, illustrator and the full suite of Adobe products.Excellent communication & presentation skills.Must have a full UK driving license and have your own vehicle.Branding, logo & printing design experience.Internet marketing, SEO & PPC management.Site Statistics & Customer tracking.Payment gateway integration experience.Strong understanding in UX principles and have an eye for design.Be able to write compelling content.Experience working within the digital & creative sector and must have a good portfolio of previous works to showcase during the interview process.
In return the Senior Wordpress / Web Developer / Graphic Designer will receive a salary of £30,000 per annum.
