2nd Line Support Engineer - Up to £30K with benefits - London
The successful 2nd Line IT Support Analyst will form part of an on-site support team supporting the day-to-day IT needs of approx. 250 London staff & 1200 global staff with remote assistance from the Group IT Service Delivery team based in Newcastle, London & New York.
The candidate will be expected to join a rota of IT Support Analysts in providing IT support across the Group with the requirement of one week of lates (7pm finish) per month and one week of on-call (one week, every six weeks).
For the successful 2nd Line IT Support Analyst there will also be the opportunity of involvement in a variety of interesting Group IT projects and the possibility of travel to other sites within the Group.
Reponsibilities
* Logging and resolving all IT Service Desk tickets, via phone, remotely and/or face-to-face
* Providing 1st & 2nd Line IT Support to resolve IT tickets pro-actively and time sensitive manner
* Setting up, imaging & configuring hardware and software for new hires, ensuring process is followed and complete
* Processing leavers, desk moves and personnel change requests within the assigned helpdesk SLA according to process
* Managing IT inventory, ensuring mission critical, hardware, software & consumables is always available
* Working with the Group Infrastructure Team to support the local infrastructure for the London office, including networking & server support
