What an exciting role ! Are you a Powershell and Microsoft Windows Server Wizard ? Then this is the role for you !!! Located in their luxurious modern open plan offices in Dublin 2, you will be the first Dev Ops employee in this company. Establishing best practices, looking and business and IT processes that need to be automated. You will be automating these processes from scratch.

As a business they have 70 business applications that need to be automated, ensuring there is minimal / zero downtime. Currently only 1 of these applications is automated. They are a 24x7 operation with offices world-wide. This role is normal working hours with no overtime and no travel is expected. Excellent salary and benefits on offer for the ideal candidate.

A key part of this role and essential prior experience is working with 3rd party Vendors. As a business they work with 3rd party vendors for their applications and infrastructure. You must have worked with and collaborated with vendors previously. You don't have to have "managed" them, that is the responsibilty of a colleague, but prior experience of working with and collaborating with 3rd party vendors to achieve your and the goals of the business is expected.

You will be joining their growing IT team to operate and support the infrastructure and business applications that handles billions worth of transactions each year. Very successful organisation. A leader in their field.

Devops Powershell Windows Server Skill-set needed

5 yrs of experience in information systems support and operations preferably in an outsourced environment

2+ years DevOps engineering experience desired

Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Server technology stack

Demonstrated experience of automating application deployments and processes in complex 24/7 environments

2-3 years SME in PowerShell and PowerShell DSC (other scripting languages an advantage)

Very strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016. A relevant industry certification, e.g. MCSE an advantage

Fluent English / Valid EU passport or Stamp 4
