An excellent opportunity for a maintenance engineer looking for a days based role in a company that has grown rapidly over the last few years and can offer you an autonomous position where you can train on specialist machinery.

The company design and manufacture products for niche industries and supply them globally. Having secured a number of high level contracts they are continuing their growth and are also investing in a new site. Now due to retirement they have a requirement for a maintenance engineer to take an autonomous role in the business.

In this role you will be responsible for the reactive and pre planned maintenance over three sites. Working closely with the maintenance engineer who is retiring you will be trained on the specialist machinery and will also be involved in installation and project improvement works. At the end of the year the role will evolve and you will be left as the sole Maintenance Engineer, giving you a sense of autonomy and the chance to get involved in project work and liaising with outside contractors. The three sites are based in Bristol and Essex.

The ideal candidate will be a multi skilled maintenance engineer from a manufacturing or production background, who is looking for a days based role with a high level of autonomy.
