C++ Developer - London - Investment Banking - Contract

Location: London

Employment Type: Contract

A fantastic opportunity for a C++ Developer to work within an Investment Banking environment.

Skills/Qualifications Required:

* Strong C++ development skills including experience with multi-threaded programming, performance optimization

* Strong understanding of messaging and networking

* A number of years' experience working in a finance environment, preferably within Investment Banking

* Proactive and flexible approach to dealing with challenges

* Highly motivated to work directly with traders

* Strong communication skills and the ability to describe and defend technical decisions

* Strong analytical skills

The following experience would be desirable:

* Experience of FX or Equities business

* Experience of DMA

* Experience of high-performance / low latency development

* Proven ability to deliver front office systems
