IT Product Owner - The role is to act as Product Owner of a fleet management software package that is a component of the integrated IT system that provides a vehicle booking, fleet management; billing and reporting service to manage a large-scale lease and rental vehicle fleet used by a public sector customer.

Overview

* Undertake business analysis, data analysis and change specification of software changes which are subcontracted to the product supplier

* Plan and manage the supplier's delivery of software changes and their integration and test within the overall solution.

* Develop expertise in the fleet management solution and design and implement user configurable changes to the product.

* Act as the fleet management Product Owner and IT focal point for vehicle fleet management requirements.

* Coordinate with fleet management product suppliers; in-house IT developers and in-house IT hosting infrastructure supplier.

* Plan and manage the fleet management subsystem modification, test and release plan within the programme plan for the overall system.

* Specify change requests for modifications and enhancements to the functionality to the fleet management app product and its integration with other subsystems in the overall integrated fleet management, vehicle booking and reporting system.

* Undertake product configuration to implement change requests that can be delivered through user-configuration of the product

Key Skills

* Business analysis in an IT environment.

* Data analysis and SQL.

* Authoring functional specifications.

* 3rd party supplier management.

* UK SC security clearance or able to achieve UK SC clearance

* Domain experience in vehicle fleet management (highly desirable)
