Development Manager

It is a fast growing, Currency Exchange company based in Leather Head and we are looking to bring on a Development Manager to join our team. The mission is to make travelling and money exchange as easy as possible. We are looking for people who hit all the nails on the head and are excited about what we do.

Responsibility's

*Tracking of software releases.

*Insuring best in class software development.

*Insuring development and testing activities follow agreed process.

*Insuring software quality.

*Advising the CTO on software development issues.

Requirements

*Proven experience in delivering quality software

*Past development experience in C# or similar OO language

*Ability to review code and understand it

*Ability to manage and grow a development team

*Good communication skills both verbal and writing in English

*Demonstrate a good understanding of the full SDLC and typical delivery challenges

*Very good understanding of multi-threading development

*Demonstrate an excellent understanding of project estimation, tracking and steering techniques

*Demonstrate a good understanding of modern development techniques (SOLID principle, usual design patterns, etc…)

*Excellent understanding of the Agile process

Location - Leatherhead

Day Rate - £325

Contract Length - 6 to 12 months
